American Buffalo Wings
Born in Buffalo, NY: crispy chicken wings tossed in a tangy butter-hot sauce. The original game-day snack.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken wings, split
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Sauce: 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank's), 1/3 cup melted butter, 1 tbsp white vinegar, 1 tsp Worcestershire
- Blue cheese dressing and celery sticks

Pat wings very dry. Toss with baking powder and salt.

Arrange on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 45-50 minutes, flipping once, until deep golden and crispy.

Whisk hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, and Worcestershire.

Toss hot wings in the sauce until fully coated.
