Indian Mango Lassi
A creamy, cooling yogurt smoothie blended with sweet ripe mango. The perfect partner to a spicy Indian meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ripe mango chunks (fresh or frozen, or canned Alphonso pulp)
- 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 3 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- Pinch of saffron (optional)
- Ice

Combine mango, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom in a blender.

Blend on high until completely smooth and frothy.

Taste and add more sugar if needed.

Pour into chilled glasses over ice.

Garnish with a pinch of saffron threads or a sprinkle of cardamom.
